Regarding the condition of Mount Agung, according to the latest official information (per 01 January 2018) by the Centre of Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (CVGHM), it was reported that an eruption with ash cloud occurred on 01 January at 22.40 local time. Eruption and ash emission was not continuing. The alert status is on level 4.
The restricted areas is from 8 km to 10 km from the volcano. Tegallalang, Ubud, where Tejaprana Resort & Spa is located is approximately 40 km away from Mount Agung.
Bali’s international airport, Ngurah Rai International Airport which is located even further from the volcano, approximately 75 km away is operating as normal.
