Regarding the condition of Mount Agung, according to the latest official information (per 12 February 2018) by the Centre of Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (CVGHM), it was announced that the alert status is lowered down to level 3. Eruption and ash emission was not continuing since the last eruption on 24 January 2018.
The restricted areas is reduced to 4 km from the volcano. Tegallalang, Ubud, where Tejaprana Resort & Spa is located is approximately 40 km away from Mount Agung.
Bali’s international airport, Ngurah Rai International Airport which is located even further from the volcano, approximately 75 km away is operating as normal.
CVGHM has worked with the Indonesian National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) to develop warnings for eruptive activity and the system that has been prepared in case of eruption occurred. For further official information please visit,
